ACUTE DIVERTICULITIS

Have you been diagnosed with Acute Diverticulitis and are experiencing flare up of symptoms including abdominal pain?

Carolinas Research Associates is currently conducting a clinical research study of an investigational medication to treat the symptoms of Acute Diverticulitis.

To qualify for this trial study participants must be between 40-80 years of age,

  • Have been clinically diagnosed with Acute Diverticulitis.
  • Have had a CT scan within 14 days of the first visit.
  • Experiencing a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd attack with symptoms associated with Acute Diverticulitis.

Participation in this study includes a 12-week treatment of study medication with 8 office visits over a period of 52 weeks.
